Capture Vacation Pictures Using Flytographer

Updated: Sep 12, 2022

Do you love looking back at pictures from past vacations? The memories can really take you back, can’t they? I know I love looking back at all our vacation photos, but for so many years, I was disappointed in how few there were. Or how bad they had turned out. I mean, I’m a mom of two boys and one of them is autistic. My hands are always full when I’m on vacation and that means pictures are sometimes an afterthought. Thankfully, I now have a new way to capture vacation pictures. I have successfully used Flytographer a few times now and I don’t think I will ever go back to taking my vacation photos any other way.

How to Use Flytographer

Using Flytographer is extremely simple. All you need to do is head over to their website,

www.flytographer.com. The first step is to choose the destination of your vacation and your vacation photographer. As long as there is a photographer available for your desired date in that location, your photo shoot will be confirmed. The next step will be to finalize the exact locations of your photo session. On the designated date, you will meet your photographer at the desired location. Within five days of your photoshoot, you will receive your photos via email.

See, it is that easy! Oh, and if you simply want to have pictures of your family taken closer to home, you can use Flytographer’s services for that as well!

My Experience with Flytographer

I want to start by saying that Flytographer wasn’t designed as an autism-friendly option for autistic families. However, the service has truly been perfect for my autistic family.

Before our sessions, I talk to the photographer about any concerns I have and how they can be as supportive of my son as possible during the shoot. I never enter any photo session with any clear expectations. But since I know my son does not do well with staged photos, I request candid shots for the entire session.

I have always chosen the 30-minute sessions with Flytographer. This is the timeframe I know works well with my boys. And after each session, I have been amazed at the fifteen photos that have been emailed to me.

Additional Flytographer Photo Session Options

While I always book the 30-minute session with Flytographer, they have other session options available. If your kids love having their pictures taken, or you have a larger family, you may prefer the 60-minute, 90-minute, or 2-hour photography sessions. The latter two are perfect if you want to have photographs taken at multiple locations.

Flytographer also offers a beautiful photo book filled with twenty-four pages of pictures from your photoshoot. This is an excellent way to keep your pictures organized by vacation with very little work on your part. I have never been disappointed with our time with Flytographer and I can’t wait to do another photo session with them soon. If you have a vacation planned, you will want to get your photo session booked with them soon.
