How I help
Spectrum Getaways Professional Consultation
Consider me to be your Travel Concierge. I’ll work on the details of your trip from idea to execution. We’ll start with a phone call to discuss your goals, needs, concerns, and resources. Then based on our conversation, I’ll create a customized trip plan and itinerary centered around you and your autistic loved ones' needs without sacrificing fun or adventure!
And when I say “Travel Concierge” I mean just that! I’m here to answer questions from the planning stage right through to your arrival and the duration of your vacation! My job is done once you’ve returned home with a camera full of memories and excitement about planning your next trip together!

At this time I do not charge for my services.*
*If we agree to work together, to create an experience that meets your needs. If your trip is complicated and has many stops I charge a non-refundable fee of $200. When we agree to work together and after I've sent you 3 proposals and you have not selected one I will charge a non-refundable $100 fee to continue to work together.

I do not send out quotes unless we agree to work together.
It’s my desire to provide unique vacation experiences for families who live with autism. The diagnosis shouldn’t prevent your children from experiencing the world and all it has to offer. In fact, consider this your invitation to allow me to create experiences for you and your children that allow you both to see this big, beautiful world while being sensitive to the needs of your loved ones.

CONSULTATIONS

Every trip is unique to each client because every family has unique needs, and your vacation should accommodate those needs. Let’s talk to see how I can meet those needs for you and your family.
PLAN

I create a memorable experience for you and your family by putting together an individualized travel itinerary based on your preferences and your loved one's needs, filled with fun and adventure!
BOOKING
​
I take care of every detail from booking hotel accommodations on your behalf to choosing autism-friendly airlines for your flight, to finding tours that are autism-friendly for your family, as well as respite/childcare services and so much more!
ADVISORY​
​
I provide (through extensive research) destination facts, travel do’s/don’ts, and support services to ensure comfortable travel while getting to your destination
CONCEIRGE
​
While you’re travelling and enjoying your trip, I am available for the duration of your trip for any questions, comments, concerns, and troubleshooting should any issues arise during your vacation. I also provide autism friendly restaurant recommendations, make reservations, and schedule special event celebrations.
CONVENIENCE​
​
I do the heavy lifting so that all you have to do is show up at the airport and get your boarding pass! I have a system of planning as well as correspondence with every key player at you destination so that you don’t have anything to worry about. And should any issues arise, I am the first line of defense to ensure that NOTHING impedes your trip.
CONVENIENT​

I provide a system that allows you to pay online, track your payments, and access your itinerary in an easy-to-use PDF.
EXTRA PERKS!​
My experience has afforded me relationships with some amazing vendors – and I’m passing those perks on to you as well! I’ll ensure that you get the VIP treatment while on your vacation stay.
PROTECTION

I provide you with the best options for travel insurance (which is a MUST when planning a vacation) so that you have peace of mind knowing that if – for whatever reason – your trip doesn’t go according to plan you are protected.
PERSONAL TOUCH​
I’m a mom of an autistic child, so I have firsthand experience of what vacationing with autistic loved ones is like. I bring that personal touch and experience to every phase of my planning for you and your family. During your vacation, you reach me when you need to and if it is after business hours, I have an urgent workflow for any emergencies.
